Sry hard to understand what you wrote but i will try and help.

Im going to asssume you have the garden area already and you havent grown any crops. So you need 4 seeds to plant one piece of land. I think each seed costs about 9 bronze coins.

Before you are able to harvest you need to "build" the plot of land. Once built it will ask you to put in the type of plant. Put your plant and all you have to do is wait a few days. You need energy to harvest. Once you harvest you will get your crops, seeds, and crop waste.

At first you will only get about 50% return on seeds, BUT you get crop waste which you can turn into Peat fromt the Compost Heap, which is kind of like fertilizer. So go back to the farmer and buy more seeds to be able to plant another plot or two. But this place the peat into the farm area first (as if it were the 4 seeds), once you do this the plot will have two signs. This indicates you succesfully fertilized the plot. Then plant you four seeds and wait again. This time around you should get around 80-90% of your seeds back. Then just repeat.

For example now I plant carrots on fertilized plot and get 9 carrots and 3-4 seeds per harvest. Not 100% sustainable but close enough. Hope this helps

Not really. It's a pain. I wish we could select the Fertilizer in a second slot alongside the seeds.

At first, the fertilizer was confusing to understand since it is everything in one slot. It take a while until you unlock the real fertilizer that you understand what it mean to fertilizer and seeds

i was refering to the amount of silly input to plant 20+ crops and how long it takes cuz of this

It looks like you can dual fertilize. As an example, I can put peat AND the fertilizer on the same patch, with the fertilizer icon on the left, and the peat icon on the right of the tile.

No idea if it makes any difference.

There are 2 types of fertilizer to unlock eventually. Once you do you can fertilize with one or both types for the best growing rate and quality (quality is crop and seed return)

I think it's more of an issue that they made it so that your Gardens remembered what you last used but every time I fully restart the game they forget what I planted last time so when I go to replant I have to reselect everything again

Even if they did remeber it's still quite annoying to set it up in the first place.

Maybe if the gardens were upgradeable (tier 1-3) and there was some sort of box, similar to Donkey carrots, where you put so many fertilizers etc in at a time and it lasts so many plantings for the overall field. When running out, you would just load up more. :D

Now that sounds like an idea, hopefully the individual plots wouldn't "forget" they were supposed to be affected by the box though...
