I feel like the devs did not even read our alpha bug reports
Honestly it's kinda rude. We paid to play in alpha and be beta testers (they are professionals with a salary usually, you know...) and from what i have seen of the game now, they absolutely didn't care about all the things we said in the discord.
It's early access, uh ? It really feels like EA.
I love the game but i'm pissed, i really feel like they're fooling us. Like, for real, since day 1 on alpha we said "add key rebinding" and oh no they did not implemented it on release. REALLY ? It's 2018, every game have key rebinding. FINISH YOUR GAME.

Indigestes Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:18am
now yes, but not on release

So are you saying absolutely nothing was fixed, or just specific things you feel like whining about?

Oh no it took one day and you throw a temper tantrum about it after it was fixed..
Indigestes Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:25am
lots of things were not fixed, like the issue where in the dungeon, if your inventory is full, the chest on lvl 5 is empty and if you saved after that that's a softlock. Check the discord, all the people are posting about issues that already were there in alpha.
And yeah i'm writing about the key bindings after they changed it, that's called an exemple.
wilco64256 Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:26am
So exactly how many alpha issues were reported that were fixed? And how many were reported and not fixed?
Indigestes Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:30am
do you really think i'm going to count all of them ?
I really don't mean to be mean or anything, but i really feel like they didn't finished the game. There a lot of little things as well that some people have pointed out in the alpha (like a visual thing for the donkey sound because some people cannot hear it) and the game really feels like the alpha.
(also, no rebinding for controller, i just checked)

I think the way the devs treated this "pay to alpha test" testing thing was absolutely shameful.

And they have definitely not read our reports, certainly havent made much of it. But it is SO so great that they NEW came up with key binding... lol

This game is so far from finished, its not acceptable

You've listed two QOL improvements and one bug that were missed while giving no indication of how many issues were fixed. If alpha players reported 500 issues and all but 10-20 were fixed then it's pretty insulting to call the developer "rude" as a result. Game development is tough as hell, and I find it pretty ridiculous when people pitch a fit when the developer doesn't fix the one thing they complained about while not noticing the hundreds of other issues that were taken care of.

i don't get you, really. I don't care about key rebinding for myself, but that something every game should have right at the release.
I know it's hard to be a game dev. But it doesn't mean you should publish a game that's not really finished.
People have litterally posted lists of suggestions, improvements and it feels like they ignored most of them (of course not all were interesting or relevant but a lot were) Same for the bugs. They fixed some in the firsts alpha versions but that's kinda it.

If you can't provide hard numbers of how many bugs were fixed and how many weren't then your entire argument is just you personal feeling and not factual in any way. People always whine about the stuff that got missed as though it's the end of the world. Every game, every release, there's always some people who are up in arms over the game being released unfinished.

Is it playable? Yes. Is it fun? Yes. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Could it use some more polish? Sure. But to go on a rant about how the developer is some sort of scumbag for not fixing every single thing anybody ever mentioned is utterly asinine. If it's impossible for you to enjoy it currently then bugger off and play something else for a few weeks or something. Nobody benefits from your childish tantrum-throwing and entitled attitude.

You paid an enormous FIVE dollars to get early access to a game which was al ot of fun even for an alpha build. It was not as if this game costs $50 ...

You are asking for "evidence" he obviously can not provide (without getting insight from the developers or spending ages in the alpha forum and then reproducing it all).

What is a fact though and can be seen in the alpha bug testing forum: on the very first day of testing it was immediately addressed that ppl want an option to change key bindings. (For sure they do, because this is common in games since circa 1923, but that's a different story...)

Not even that obvious issue the devs have addressed within ~2 months. It is only now, after releasing this unpolished bug fest as a finished game, that they are "selling" this as a massively amazing update to the players. We are working hard for the players.. yeah... !

Not going into the entitlement comment again... you are the kind of person that tells others what they may or may not say, what they may or may not be disappointed about. And then you tell them they should bugger off. Be proud of yourself.

I haven't acted entitled about anything. I'm enjoying the game as-is and not rushing here to complain about every odd thing I encounter and expecting the dev to drop everything to immediately fix their product to my liking. The only thing I'm put off by is people coming here acting as though this is a AAA game with a $20 million budget and a development team of 200 people who should be ready to change every aspect of the game at a moment's notice to please every single consumer on the planet.

The real problem is not about fixing every bug, its just about the thing that some bugs were allready reported, and suggestings were made...but still some of these things are not done yet...I am also still playing the game, and i enjoy it...but the support of the devs is a little bit low
