Well, at least you can control whether or not you want more corpses delivered. If not, don't give him carrots...
Anyway, I can't figure out how this whole fertelizing thing works in this game.
So I put peat into the ground, and then there are two signs on each tile - hourglass and star.
Now what? I wish the game would explain what the heck am I supposed to do >_>
I'm pretty sure the hourglass is an indicator that it'll grow faster than a normal plot and the star is an indicator that you might get a higher quality crop.
Which might be useful if there was more than one type of fertilizer that could affect rates/quality. But so far, I've only found peat...
Pretty sure it does, though I only use Peat for the carrots, it usually gives me enough seeds. I only made a trip to buy seeds twice I think, and I now have enough carrots to feed the donkey for months ahead.
You use the fertilizer first, and then you replace it with seeds. The signs show that the field is buffed (peat provides two small buffs).
Keep in mind that you can't get higher quality carrots for example. Everything that can have its quality upgraded is always AT LEAST Bronze-star. Things with no star at all have no quality to upgrade.
Peat is the cheap starter fertilizer, you can unlock better fertilizers on the skill tree and craft them with Alchemy stuff.
