AWESOME RESEARCHED BLOOD AND GOT A LOT THANK YOU! sorry for yelling.

Research all the body parts to get you started. If you can save up 5 silver you can buy 20-25 from the Astrologer. Smelting sand into glass also gives blue points.

yeah, the book he sells is totally worth it for the blue points, i really had to try to get the money in alpha cause i had just found out that the sarding blacksmith was really a crack dealer giving me the first whetstone free and then "TEN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SILVER?".

didn't even know they ran out before then, eh, whatever, more sermons more money.

To be fair it's only 1 silver for a full repair.

wait, i can get the blacksmith to repair tools? or are you just saying it lasts 10 tool breakages? i mean, i was making at least 8 silver for every sermon i did, money wasn't an issue, just that was the largest amount i'd needed at once and very suddenly too.

Research and the astrologer used to sell them once you retrieve the book from the old keeper.

I'm struggling to get them and I'm over 300 days in. I've researched all the grave fences and markers up to the first marble ones, all the body parts...I added it all up and I'm still 1870 away from unlocking all the skills in the game.

Making the last stone grave marker is good for 7 (2 from polished stones and 5 from the marker), but now I've mined out the 2 stone slab deposits I know about and they aren't respawning.

What sucks is the marble grave stuff doesn't give you blue points for crafting like the stone does (at least the first marble unlock).

Not really sure where to go from here besides spending 1000 days ingame getting 25 points at a time from the astrologer...

Research provides a large, but finite number.
Some crafts give a small (1+) number, but each time. Until a couple patches ago, this included glass panes, though it still includes the higher teirs of glass products.
Writing also gives a small but repeatable number.
As mentioned, the Astrologer sells a book that grants 25 of them for 5 silver, but only one a week. And if you manage to rank his shop up, sells one that is apparently 50 points, but much more expensive.

They are, by far, the hardest ones to get.
Plan a head, buy a blue berry pie from the pub in town and get all the items that you havent researched yet that show blue orbs ready in your inventry, human organs, anything to do with the church and grave yard, the glass beakers that your can carry, and at the study table eat the pie when your ready and then research what you have and make sure you have plenty Faith orbs also before you start, you get about 1.35minutes to do this, sadly its to late for me, I researched most stuff before i even knew this but it really works. I did managed to research the angel headstones after eating a blue berry pie and I got double blue orbs. Also polishing stone and marble gets you blue orbs , about 2 each, and smelting beakers, but no more blue orbs for smelting sand to glass.

I been grinding the marbe and stone for blue orbs as I was to late to the blue berry pie feast, Oh and make sure you have the blue points and plenty faith orbs before you start, Plan a head is the key here. :(

Yes astrologer sells 2 books for 25 and 50 blue orbs I also just spend time fishing & try get the gold fish they sell for a lot silver 42silver I think it was, I just farm them, you will need the best rod and lures with the jewel farm them on the beach sell get money and buy the books among other things you will need.

100copper =1 silvercoin

100silver= 1gold coin

Otherwise you can craft "Gravestone II". Cost 3 Stones and gives you 3 Blue Points (1 Stone = 1 Blue Tech-Point).
Another way even though it's only 1 or 2 each time but a necessary thing to make. Candles.

For starters, research all the body parts you get from autopsy, all the grave decorations (headstones, fences and sculptures), and all the alchemy reagents with blue points in them.

Then turn your attention to the writing table.
- Unlock everything on the writing tech-tree except for the presses (they are useless, only make flyers).
- Make a Desk II
- Get techs from alchemy and smithing until you can craft at least silver covers (gold is better).
- Farm up a lot of Faith with "Prayer for Faith" or "Combo Prayer" at the Church.
- Craft a Prayer for Inspiration (higher grades don't give extra bonus just lasts longer).
- While under the inspiration buff, just start writing stories, most of them will come out gold and some silver. (and blue points!)
- For every three, turn them into chapters (having the perks and the buff, two silver and a gold note will always yield a gold chapter. And blue points!)
- Turn the chapters into books, they will come out silver and gold with a bit of luck. (and blue points!)
- Sell the books to the Astrologer and buy his blue books for a cool +75 blue points! He restocks them every week.
- Rinse, repeat, swim in blue points and money.

It might take a while to research all the tech, but I think this way is a lot faster than farming marble and hemp rope.
