Frame rate issues.
How is this game not able to run at 60 fps on a 1070 with a ryzen 1600. It's constantly dipping. This is a joke surely. Changing resolution and between windowed/fullscreen/borderless does nothing. What do I even do at this point to fix it, the game doesn't even have any graphics options?

I rarely have issues but this game shouldn't be eating the fps.

Sorry bro but your pc is not powerful enough to run at at 60 fps.

SAme for me ... R5 2600X 1070TI 16Go ... No optimization since alpha ...

That's honestly kinda upsetting.

Please try right-clicking the game, choosing "options" selecting "launch parameters" and entering "-force-opengl" there (without quote marks). That will force OpenGL mode and could fix the stuttering issue.

"-force-opengl" didnt help for me neither.
(i have intel i7 4770 and GTX 1070 with 8gb ram on windows 7.)
a 2d game like this shouldnt have graphic problems like this. when the problem is known since alpha, why did you guys launch the game?
even tho the topic is not really my thing, i gave you credits and bought the game, just because i liked punch club. but when i hear you launched the game knowing there are technical problems, im not so sure if i want to keep the game.
plz tell me you will fix it.

do your eyes bleeding too if you cant play a game at 60fps? you may want to visit a doctor, they can help you..... i have only the problem that the game loads for like 5 minutes for me and i have no idea why xD! a friend of mine has kinda the same pc spec and its up for him within a half minute or even lesser. and i only have frame issues at the beginning of the game, after i was everywhere and everything loaded in (so i think its a pre-rendering/loading issue?) have i no longer fps issues and i can play with like 70~80fps but meeeeh those ppls whining about "i cant play in 60fps" sometimes wish i someone would lock all of their games to 30fps THAT THEY GET ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USED TO IT xD that damn new generation which grew up in the age of 60fps consoles xD

this is not really a fps issue. i could live when a 2d game runs at 30fps, but it goes down to like 5 fps every 10 seconds. that's a whole other story.

Hi, Forcing OpenGL works for me... thanks

using a third party program to cap the fps to 60 colud help reduce the stutter but you will have a lag spike when you enter a new area in the map

-force-opengl does not work. The game still stutters and there is a massive fps issue where the field is.

Also I could run a game at 30fps also but only if the game itself was as smooth as butter at 30. This game isn't smooth because the frame rate dips constantly and the stuttering does not help in the slightest. So yeah it kinda is an fps issue along with stuttering.

And in all honesty,an 8-year old PC should be able to run this game at a steady 60 frames, let alone any recent machine. The optimization is terrible and I can't believe that the devs did not fix this before release. I would also strongly suggest to ask people with framerate or stuttering issues for their specs. Without this it might be difficult to figure out what causes the problems.

its probably a layer issue and mostlikely has to do with that stupid weather layer.
cause in buildings have i on my end absolutely no frame drops but as soon i go outside and there are any slight weather effects around WUSH frames saying goodbye and dropping down to like 15fps (yes i checked it with OBS it drops down as soon weather stuff is in effect)
