"calculation paper" deadlock?

In the forum it says that I need:
50 points with Ms. Charm (I also talked with farmer and and his wife - who ordered me to fix the windmill)
Complete Astrologer's Quests untill 60 Points
Complete Snake's Quests untill you need to get the Necronomicon. (I killed Vampire Hunter for Snake)

I have all requirements but Astrologer or the man near the windmill is not giving me "calculation paper" only option is "Trade"

Please help! :)

No Idea how that broke, I didn't run into that particular bug.

In the worst case, just cheat the calculation paper in. Here's how:

Have you physically checked the mill before talking to the Miller? The prompt should be at the front door. The Miller should be giving you a book that need to be translated by the Astrologer and turn into the papers you need.

Thanks but I don't want to use cheats. I will just wait for the fix! :) Maybe I didnt get "calculation paper" becouse I maxed out other quest before they fixed restoration tools. :(

I checked the mill multiple times. I think that only after I will get "calculation paper" I will be able interact with it (fix it).

So, just to be clear, the series of events are:

Get the quest from Ms. Charm (upon reaching a certain happiness).
Go talk to the Farmer > Farmer's son.
Go talk to the Miller. **receive the paper with calculations here**
Go talk to the Astrologer with the calculations (upon reaching a certain happiness).
Fix the mill with the calculations and materials.
Talk with the Miller > Farmer > Ms. Charm.

Did you follow this series of events? - when you reached the Miller, did he simply not initiate a conversation? - did you attempt to fix the mill first? - did he initiate the convo, but didnt give you the papers? - did he try to give you the papers, but you had a full inventory? - did he give you the papers, but you dropped it off in a random Trunk, and now don't remember where they are?

I ran into the same issue. You "softlock yourself" because there is no incentive, not even in the NPC tab in the menu to talk to the Miller to progress through the questline.

It is unfortunately bad game design at this point.

I'm certain the son mentions the Miller. If people aren't bothering to read what NPCs are saying, then it makes sense that one might not know what to do next. Linky
