Guide to removing body parts
So lets keep it simple. Let's explain what removing each part of the body does.

fat: changes 1 red into one white
blood: changes 1 red into one white
skull: +1 red skull
heart: -2 random skulls (2 white, 2 red, 1 white/1red)
meat: -1 white skull (not random)
skin: changes 1 white into 1 red
intestines: -2 white skull (may be random, always removes white for me)
bones: no change to the corpse
brain: -1 random skull (white or red)

Not implimented yet, but the two things you can do on the embalming table will be:
+1 white, +1 red skulls
-1 white, -1 red skulls

Stratedy:
corpse enters with 4 white, 2 red skulls.

1. embalm the body. Body becomes 5 white, 3 red skulls.
2. remove the skull. Body becomes 5 white, 4 red skulls.
3. remove the heart. If luck is on your side, body becomes 5 white, 2 red skulls.
4. remove the fat and blood. Body becomes 7 white skulls.

Optionally:
1. embalm the body. 5 white, 3 red
2. remove the brain (if luck is on your side), body becomes 5 white, 2 red.
3. remove the fat and blood. Body becomes 7 white skulls.

Not sure, statisticlaly, if it's more useful to remove the skull/heart combo, or to remove the brain. Less energy for the brain, but with less skulls, higher probabily of the brain backfiring.

There is no reason to remove the inestines, bones, skin, or meat (if you intend to bury the body). You don't want skulls removed.

I think i spend too much time in this game, everytime i read here.. anyways:
My graveyard is yet at 311 Point and i experimented a lot with the "important parts":

intestines did for me (until now):
1. - 2 white
2. - 2 red
3. - 1 white
4. - 1 red + turn 1 red into white
5. - 1 red
(Unfortunately more or less in this order .. does not calculate the exact % for me now)

Brain did for me (until now):
1. - 2 white
2. - 2 red
3. - 1 red
(Also more or less in this order)

Heart:
1. - 2 white
2. - 2 red
3. - 1 red + turn 1 red into white
4. + 1 red
5. + 1 white (!!)
(So.. actually the chance is there to get a extra white by removing the hearth but the chance is soooooo low.. i did it for like 50 times and it was ONCE! :S)

So it 'is' a little random with heart / intestine / brain.

but it seems brain always removes a skull or two, never adds (so don't remove brain until after embalming and removing the skull (when embalming becomes imlemented, to give you a +2 red skull total).

Remove heart after embalming and skull removal.

Intestines are never worth the trouble, the RNG after removing the skull to get -1 red, convert red to white, is too low.

I've been doing it the cheesy way and slept before working on each body and the whole brain, intestine & heart seems random to me though usually 2 are bad and 1 good at random.
However the one thing I rarely see mentioned is, atleast to me, don't add red skulls (unless it also adds a white and you can remove it again).
Say you have a 1 red, 3 white body ... by removing the blood and fat it becomes a 0/5 body but now when you put in the ground it will have +1 rather than 0 so you only need to add 4 more from tombstone/fence to max it out.

Can someone explain why some body parts stack in storage and why some dont. Like blood and fat can, but intestines, brains occupy single cells.

because without dlcs, all blood, fat, skulls, bones and skin are identical, but brains, hearts, intestines can all have difference red and white skull counts
