In the save file i found a stat "max sanity" and i also found that sometimes if you go to sleep, you got some +ying yang symbol, likely it is sanity. Maybe you will lose insanity if you throw corpses in the river and it will have some negative effects in the future.
Their spawn is random.
Tossing bodies into the river however will most likely wash them up in the town which is south of the graveyard. The mailbox has an option for paying fines/taxes which is blank for now.
I have been tossing corpses like river garbage over three save files as well, but not a single slime or bat for me.
Sanity is a fickle thing, as it requires you to have a set moral code that you are breaking to loose it. look at how many people do things you may consider insane but are uneffected by it, and you may also do things they consider insane. If "Sanity" is implimented (have not seen anything ying/yang related yet) then they would have to place a moral and value code system in advance and let the player know about it. Forcing them to fallow what the developer wanted to do.
However if the ying/yang is how it is originally intended its how you are vs the harmony of things. kinda like defense/offense and left/right. it has no real bad/good.
Tossed tonnes of corpses into the river, seen no change in mob spawns.
It’s just coincidental
