Hatch in the Basement and shortcut to the village

how do i open the hatch in the basement and is there a shortcut to the village ?

Do you mean the hatch on the far right side beside the autopsy table? The donkey will drop corpses through there if you also repair the one outside.

There is a hall leading towards a hatch that appears to be going towards the village. However it's locked. (After clearing out the blockage to the cellar you can reach it) it's not in the morge.

I think it probably lock for alpha. It seem to be where snake came from. So you would have to be friends with him to get it open or something. ( I think it make sense that way )
