[MOD] Multi Mod (Sprint, Energy Regen, Time, Unfreeze)
Mod Description:
This mod makes some improvements to the game as described in the Features section.
Currently a new sprint function entirely replaces the dash function, this works as you would normally expect out of sprint in any standard game.
The player also regenerates a small amount of energy while standing still, not tired and not doing anything. This does not make you stop needing to eat food, it simply gives you a little extra to work with if you wait for a little while and compliments the sprint function nicely.
These features have been carefully balanced to feel like they belong in the game without making it feel like you are cheating.

I just want a mod to increase the time of day, or in other words, decrase the speed of the day time dial, but 50%.

Days pass too swiftly.

Not even a mod, you decompiled the source code and edited files.
Pretty sure that is frowned upon.
How do I know cause the file you are overwritting is the main game file when it comes to unity.

+1. I would also like the time to stop entirely when you are in your inventory or skill tree.

Yeah, I don't think I would've been very happy with that if I were developing the game.

Yeah the game needs to be paused when you're viewing tech tree or in chest inventory. It's rediculous that time still passes.

I can add all that to the mod.

You just described every mod ever made. No matter what method a mod uses, it still have to overwrite some part of the game code, or hook into its functions some way.
It's a mod no matter what you think of it.

If people are going to be annoying(@JackPS9 and @ReZpawner) about modding the game files, it's going to take a lot longer to release the mod as I would have to write an injectable mod loader for it first...

Could someone find out the developer's stance on this?

I dont like the save on exit, sure it turns the game more realistic, but its still in alpha, if u get stuck somewhere and u quit to reload, and saves... bye bye saved game!

There is no getting stuck anywhere, but if it's really an issue I can make it teleport you back to the house before saving it.
Heck I could even add in a button for it if getting stuck was a issue.

which could be exploided, like going to the lighthouse and save/quiting to get teleported back to the house. Also "there is no getting stuck anywhere" we are talking about a alpha game, just cuz u did get stuck before doesnt mean i wont in the future, right? U can also just sleep in the bed for like a Sec to save the game, its alot like a save point.

Then auto save without teleporting back to the house, and a separate keyboard button that can be used once per loading a save to teleport back to the house to get unstuck.

Choosing to exploit the game is up to each player, nobody is forcing it on you.

Nice, thanks for your work.

My only feedback would be that Dash is a combat tool and I am not sure if it's a good idea to remove it.

I like all the others Mod, Im just on the fence about that auto save, if I could disable, just for me maybe, I would be happy. I guess my whole problem is the force save of the matter, I also like to test the tech im gonna buy, like the Stone gravestone for example, I bought it at first but then figured out that u need Stone cutter 2 to make any of it, so I reloaded to expend my points on something better at the time.

As I sayd, its Alpha, I would like to be able to reload after expending 200 blue exp on something that doesnt work yet.

PS: there is also problems like putting things in dificult to access places, like a trunk in front of a wall, where u cant build or demolish, and have to reload to get rid of it.

I'll make dash go into sprint mode when holding down instead.
Dash is a tap thing, and sprint is a hold thing.
