Still broken on Xbox One X - Worth getting Windows version?
Hey, firstly I want to say this is an astounding game, not here to hate on it or anything. That being said I have been having the dreaded crash on sleep bug with my Xbox One X and it's just made the whole thing unbearable to play to the point I've given up despite making a load of progress.

From what I can tell this is due to a memory issue, but since I can't just solder some more GDDR5 onto the One X's motherboard I think I'm kind of screwed there. So, is the PC version actually stable now, and are the save memory issues a thing of the past? I don't want to invest in two broken copies of the same game really. :/

The computer I'd be running it on is an i9-9820X / 32GB RAM / 1080 Ti SLI... On paper I can't see why I'd have any issues running this but as I said, I don't want to buy the same bugs twice.

Thanks for any help, looking forward to endlessly farming carrots again soon.

I'd wait for a sale, but sure - especially with the version discrepancy, finding out all the new stuff the PC version has could be entertaining. Now, is the PC completely bug-free, or even more bug-free than the Xbox version? - dunno if I can answer that, but you should have more options available to you in any case.

Whilst I hate to displease someone with a BG avatar and a Super Troopers quote for a name I did just get drunk and cave, and ho boy is it better. The lag is gone, the zombies are delightful, I'm a happy chap.

It's sad that the Xbox version hasn't had the investment because it really shines on a controller and is perfect sofa gaming; however I guess this is why god gave us the ability to connect Xbox controllers via Bluetooth. 😃
