black paint how to get?

how i can get black paint? the Alchemy workbench has no second tab for crafting...

alchemy recipes unlock by either getting them from npc (only a few) and experimenting (most of them). Or you could just look them up in the guides or wiki on which ingredients you have to combine for them.

It's produced in an Alchemy Workbench (Tier 1).

1x Graphite powder & 1x Water
1x Ash & 1x Oil
1x Death powder & 1x Water

get you 1x black paint.

If you need that for the Ink, then go ask the poet in the tavern for help, he'll tell to you to get him some Ink and Paper and that you can buy from the Astroleger (old dude at the light house).

To make black paint you need to mix two ingredients in the Alchemy workbench, there should be a display with two empty boxes where you can put ingredients. There are guides on the community hub that list out all recipes but a simple one is ash and oil, that makes black paint. Once you have crafted it once, you can pick it from a list on another tab to auto mix the ingredients.

This is the case for all alchemy in the game except for a select few cases where you will be given the recipe upfront, if this happens you can just craft it like normal.

At the start you are better off making lots of nails and simple iron parts, selling them to Krezvold the blacksmith, then buying ink and feathers from the astrologer. Don't buy the already made pen-and-ink, too expensive at the start.
