Has the Xbox version gotten any better?

Started playing it about.... 4 or so months ago and found it to be increasingly laggy, now that it's about to leave the Game Pass, I need to decide if I'm gonna buy it for a slightly cheaper price, or say screw it and move on.

I'm not at home or I'd download and test it, so hoping someone here can let me know. Thanks!!

While I can't speak for xbox version the PC performance isn't exactly great either, still has annoying stutter.

I can't speak about the xbox performance, but Python is right about the PC.

I started up the game today on my Xbox One, and saw that the Breaking Dead DLC is being sold... it isn't included in the base game. So I just stuck to the steam edition.

Thanks for the feedback. I got around to trying the game again, and didn't have any luck.

HOWEVER, I did manage to seemingly fix it by uninstalling the game, as well as about 100GB worth of other stuff on my HDD (was external, reinstalled to actual Xbox), and reinstalled the game. This seemingly fixed the stutters I dealt with. Maybe I got lucky, who knows, but worth trying for anyone else.

Be warned that the scummy devs and publisher CHARGE for the Breaking Dead DLC on Xbox. I refuse to support this type of behavior.
