Confessionals: Now unplacable?

I just tried building a confessional, but both I and II are 4x4, while the space for them is just 3 units wide. I can find references to confessionals being 3x4, but mine are definitely 4x4. Anybody else having this issue? Recently-introduced bug, maybe?

Precisely which spaces are you referring to? - the 4x4's meant for the confessional should be on the left and right of the approach, near the benches ...*not* up near the pulpit.

What he said. Did you put candle holders there? I sometimes put two in each confessional spot if I have a *huge* amount of candles (4 lit triple candlesticks x12 is better than 2 upgraded confessionals at 7 points each).

In the Big Church, there is nowhere for the Confessional (4x4) to be placed. The spaces on the left and right are only 2 cells wide. The Confessional from the original church is still in place, but clearly extends past the bounds of the area that's set aside for building. The Shrine can't be placed in the church main level either, since that's 3x4. My original from the smaller church in also still in place, and the template extends outside of the placement area.

Yes, THIS is the place for confessionals. The big church does not give you new places, you still have a place for 2 confessionals.

I'm not sure. The model seems a bit off, shifted a bit to the wall, but I think it was always like that.

Shrines go near the altar, not on the main floor. 0 in the starting church, 2 in the big church, and 3 in the cathedral (the new one is in the opposite place than stairs to the cellar).

Yes, THIS is the place for confessionals. The big church does not give you new places, you still have a place for 2 confessionals.

Thanks for this. I suppose I was assuming that there should be a place for another Confessional in the big church. It sounds like I should remove the Shrine that I had in the small church, and replace it with a Confessional, relocating the Shrine to the upper area.
