"More Blue Points" Achievement's Bugged

Despite having more than 3k blue points, the achievement still not unlocked :(
edit : i calculated all the blue points necessary to get all tech tree, it was 3670, and i have more than 1k left

Various achievements, for whatever reason, have bugged before ...perhaps you're just one of the unlucky ones. Also, specifically in regards to the achievements relating to the techpoints, there's a chance you might've 'hopped over' the goal if you ever used a techbook.

Nearest as we can tell, the achievement counter isn't coded as "has [player] received equal-to-or-greater-than 3000 btp total" but instead "has [player] received 3000 btp", and in most circumstances this works just fine, as techpoints are added one at a time ...except in the case of techbooks. So, for example, you might've gone from 2985 to 3010 using a techbook and would not have received the achievement, nor any indication that you overshot it.

No easy solution, I'm afraid - could try starting over, but there's no guarantee that'll even work.

so i guess i want to try grinding without the books in my current game, maybe it was because i made and bought lots of them, if that didnt work i guess i have to do it later in the new game, btw, if i travel through portal did the game ended? or i can still continue playing?

I used books frequently in my playthrough some months ago, and it worked fine. But you might want to try to grind some extra blue points and see if it changes anything. You get a lot of them making marble angel or death statues for the graveyard.

And yes: you can continue the game after activating the portal.

Just in case I didn't make this clear enough, I wasn't trying to say 'you should never use techbooks' ...only that if you were to use one at the exact moment you surpass 1000 or 3000 techpoints, it might not grant you the related achievement - this seems to be potentially true for all 6 techpoint achievements, but just happens to be encountered most often in regards to the 3k btp.

To preface my next point, I'll just say that I don't know any of this for sure, but I can make an educated guess. Most likely, the game is simply keeping a tally of various statistics, such as the amount of total techpoints you've earned of each color - so, for example, when you reach 1000 red techpoints you get an achievement, and when you reach 3000 red techpoints, you get another. There is no indication that this tally ever resets! ...so, OP - if you're sure you've surpassed earning a total 3k btp, I suppose you can certainly try for 6k btp, but that's assuming the game reset the tally at 3k ...which I seriously doubt. The only thing that *might* reset the tally is starting a new game, but again I can't even be sure of that. Good luck, tho...

yeah, i think i'm gonna try that, beside my progress seems to be half way done and i can grind some more, thanks for the advice

I don't think it's bugged, i think points gained through books just don't count for the achievement. You may just be a few points away from unlocking it.
