I don't really know how I feel about this game, like it looks good but progressing in the game doesn't feel good. I unlock new things that I hope make life easier but, it is just another thing I am now focusing on and finding stuff for. There is so much going on and it just feels all over the place. I am not sure how I feel about this. It would be way better if you focused on 1 quest line at a time but instead you are focusing on like 20 quests and each one requires something from the other so you don't get time to really take it in. You have Gerry, astrologer, snake, the inquisitor, the bishop, the witch, noble quest, horadic, vampire, zombie quests, donkey, and more. Its just a lot to take on and there is very little hand holding for the game which I am normally for, but this game needs some because its just too much.
For now I am not recommending this game and I may play it more and see if something clicks but I am good for now
EDIT: Forgot to mention this but crafting also requires IRL minutes and some items you are crafting hundreds of so you are now stuck waiting hours for stuff to be done which is also frustrating.

One of the most hilarious, cozy and slightly grim games out there! I absolutely love this game, was playing it for years and wish there would be more story.
The characters are amazing, starting from the communist dunkey and the skull that likes booze (why???) to the Marlin Monroe-esk woman and the best cameo ever of a guy who 'loooves side quests'.
Design and music are hitting the spot. I honestly don't know what it is, but on a rainy day in the game my heart sings (yeah I know it sounds tacky). Trees have all the leaves, roads have all the stones, berries are juicy, the field of wheat is calling for me to run through. It;s drawn with such a great attention to details, I can see that artists loved the project. And I enjoy seeing that care and attention.
The cozy element is huge there - you can add more details to the house, walk around on a rainy day (or discect dead bodies, your choice), create potions and magical dusts, love it.
The grim part at first was unexpected, but then I started finding it hilarious. All the jokes made around it help a big deal. Ah the fresh burger..
The extra stories are fun. Even the classic twist of a communist dunkey who was fooled by bolshevists' rats, someone didn't miss the history class! The irony is great.
The only one annoying point of the game is when you have to make like 200 bowls at some point, ugh.

I wish there would be an option to turn off additional stories when you start a new game, I truly enjoy those, but to play all the side stories at once is a bit too much.

I wish there would be another game like that, or developers released additional stories for the game with new locations. I REALLY WANT TO GET TO THAT TOWN.

Overall: awesome game if you want stardew valley with tons of irony and a bit of zombies.
