(Also, Ghostwood is not mandatory for completing the main quest - the mayor of Breadwood will give you the lumber if you solve enough of his quests, not all of them)
Edit, since posts happened while I was typing: I think it's called Ghostwood temporary visitor permit, or a variation of that. Check in the G's. (I can't directly check, but the permanent version is called the Ghostwood visitor's ID)

A few steps ahead of you. Just ♥♥♥♥ the whole ghostwood quest. I get the joke but you have to find the balance between funny and pain in the ass and this one leaned more towards ass.
Ask what name I picked and I'll tell you the same.
