i think i did see eric import a level in the level editor and imported it for CDITHD so maybe that will have some support but again im not a coder nor am i great with any of that stuff so not 100% confirmed, but im sure someone like a community manager knows
To further elaborate on this, there were a bunch of fundamental changes to the game, a big one with relevance to the level editor is baked lighting. The current level editor, both as it exists in CD:VR and in the base game, does not have support for baking lighting into levels. The developers prioritized getting the story mode and base mechanics of combat done over the extras, which was a good direction to take given that base clone drone became a circus of underbaked separate gamemodes without much overall content.
