Q: When will it release?
A: Not set in stone yet. Despite what the TikToks and YouTube Shorts show you, there’s still a ton of work that needs to be done before it gets launched. Right now, the devs are aiming for the end of 2024, but don’t be surprised if nothing happens then. If you were around when Chapter 5 was still upcoming, then you know how bad the devs are with release dates.

Q: Can I play early/Do they accept beta testers?
A: It's still too early to release a demo of any kind for the public. Besides, Doborog has its own employees to test the game.

Q: Game name?
A: Find out by watching Doborog’s dev streams on Twitch. Erik, the main developer of the game, been working with a concept title for a little bit now, but the new name may not be final. Clone Drone in the Hyperdome

Q: What platforms is it going to be on? It’s currently confirmed to be on Oculus/Meta Quest and Steam VR.

Q: Can they add (insert dumb suggestion here)?
A: Your best option is to either win the lottery at getting your TikTok comment highlighted or go to a live Doborog dev stream and ask in the Twitch chat. Keep in mind though that Erik wants to keep his options open and would often just say “Maybe” to everything. If he gives a flat “No” however, then you should pack your stuff and give up. (Looking at you people that have been begging for a Spear Bot Mk 5 for five years)

Q: Is it multiplayer?
A: No. The VR game has always been intended to be a single player experience.

Q: Is it free?
A: Was the original Clone Drone free? No, you cheapskate. Small indie game devs need to eat too, you know. Either learn to pay for your games or wait to watch someone else do a let’s play.

Q: I still want split screen/level editor for console :(
A: It’s been three years since the game got ported. Let it go, console players.
