Felt childish and rushed. Oh, emperor dead, lets just go back then. Super anti climactic. Are there still going to be major updates? If not then I am really disappointed in this game. Has a lot of potential, and while the emperor was a decent boss fight I don't think story is what should be focused on. New robots, new weapons, new abilities etc. Story is played once and you're done. Abilities and weapons are forever. That's just my take. I really don't think this update was worth the time, sorry to say.

this game doesn't need a story. It needs actual gameplay, again this non replayable experience is useless(takes 30 mins and you never play it again or only a few times), and this game is just going to drift away into obscurity. As opposed to adding more and more things to shake up the core combat and feel of the game, which gives it infinitely more potential. Could even release dlcs adding totally new themes. All i'm saying is that i cannot see how this is a good move in any way. I always thought this had potential with physics and weird builds and stuff like that but they barely expanded on that.

i (with all due respect devs) TOTALLY AGREE, this game needs more challenges and endless mode and customization, not some 2 buck story milking buys, ooh bug update wow. it needs GAMEPLAY NOT ACHIVEMENTS I WONT GRIND FOR 2 HOURS UNTILL I GET LUCKY i needed that....phew

I think ya'll are overthinking it, the game is not about the story, it's about combat, but without the story, WHICH INCLUDES COMBAT, there wouldn't be any context behind said combat because all the things you fight are from the story! I'm no genius by any means, but I do know that without the story this game WOULD NOT EXIST. Yeah, it would be awesome if Doborog added a new axe weapon or allowed us to duel wield emperor mode (who mode? Story character mode), but without the story, the game would actually suck a lot, since there would be no context. All you would know is that your a robot fighting robots, but the story makes it clear that you are a human and were forced into this body.

Also, if you want to keep the game alive, at least try! Make workshop levels, stream, make videos, write about it, do anything you can to keep it alive! Don't just sit there and beg for Erik to come up with things. Anyone can do the things listed above! I'M DOING IT! I've been playing this game for about a year now and I'm sick of people hating on the story. It's not supposed to be good, it's for context and it's the only reason the game exists.

you gotta admit tho the devs shouldve fixed the bugs before actually launching the game. and the game has had too many bugs for the time its ben in develepoment. I mean, i understand making cool upgrades like spear or flame breath or stuff, but at the expense of the game being buggy?

There really aren't many bugs in the game at all, its perfectly fine for a fully released game. What is the actual problem is lag, which is the worst in any single game I have ever played by far. At times skill isn't a factor at all, its 100% luck. Its been a problem since multiplayer became a thing and has never been even touched upon. Even co-op is basically unplayable at times.

The game runs at 60-100 fps on my RX 550 and Ryzen 3600 PC

They're often used interchangeably in my experience, but if you want to be specific then yeah. FPS isn't a problem at all, the only time it becomes remotely a problem is when the game is loading another level. Multiplayer can be hell though.

Is lag that big of a deal? I genuinely haven't noticed, and my computer is not even good. Ping is a big killer though, and some people get ping and lag messed up. I guess the only reason I just said that was because I'm an indie game developer and I get annoyed when people call it the wrong thing.

There are definitely bugs, but its perfectly acceptable for a fully released game. I'd actually say its very below average with how buggy it is.
