Driffers plays a lot of matches. You can see him in some of my early testing videos: https://youtu.be/Y173ZCd7rYs - He lost plenty of times, hehe. He's just good, and has tons of hours. I might be wrong, and don't want to start rumors but I have seen some people team, which we strongly discourage.
I wouldn't worry too much. He has a really good ping to US-East and a decent one to EU-West, and knows how to use it to his advantage either way. All around just a dedicated player with a lot of hours and wins at this point.
While we don't take any official action against people who team up, we do take cheating very seriously. If you happen to see anyone at all moving faster than normal, or displaying any prolonged, obviously "cheaty" behavior, please don't hesitate to let us know!
-Cheers
-He used low sneak attacks from the top of the level with archer statue;
-On the same level he was getting upstairs using this statue before jump pads were unlocked and didn't let me climb up with arrows spaming;
-Used brainless kid's trick of pretending to be afk at the beginning of the match;
-Was running from me without allowing to get closer to him while shooting with bow;
-In one of the battles I cut off his hands and instead of continuing to fight as a man (he still had a kick) he ran into the fire trap like some rat ( screenshot1 [imgur.com] , screenshot2 [imgur.com]);
-Etc, etc, etc...
He was never a great player. A bit better than the average ones, but nothing special.
I still beat him most of the times at 1vs1 and at LBS mode later.
But I back to playing Clone Drone yesterday and seen him.
And... he killed me alot D:
Yet I don't think that he cheats. It seems to be just because he plays ALOT.
Before LBS mode, I had a dozens of hours at duels matches, and though I'm saying it by myself, I was a good player. I was winning ~70-80% of them.
But when that update with LBS and "duel breaking dash [imho]" appeared I was beated so hard, that I felt myself as a total newbie.
But after I played for good amount of time, I became to winning a lot of times. At one session I even won 8 out of 10 LBS matches.
The same is with him. He already have 80+ wins and probably got used to changes of attack speed. Because when I started to play yesterday, I was beated hard by everyone again :/
@VastLite
Damn, I should have made a videos of his vile and despicable behaviours =(
Because of him I really started to think that there must be implemented some kind of "reputation" mechanism to decrease chance for normal people to meet such a vile persons. Though "battle royale" is a thing that encourages such behavior...
For now I just hope that good, tested by time Deathmatch mode will be implemented in the game. Low tricks won't work there.
He is a good fighter but most of the time I saw him, he does not play very honorable. Camps a lot. But he does not seem to cheat, I was able to kill him a few times once I figured out his attack pattern.
Ok, I heard your opinion.
It's all fine from your perspective, but what about ruining game experience for normal people? Despicable behavior of people always was the number 1 problem at Clone Drone for me.
I'm playing it to get fun, and not to left it with the feeling as if I stepped into the s**t.
Oh really? Then you'll be fine with the situation when, for example, group of friends will be teaming together at LBS mode and ganging you, right?
And even if put aside such a special cases, you are considering abusing game bugs and exploits for getting unfair advantage against other players is a fine thing?
Man, people are being BANNED for this in some other games, and it's for a reason.
It's almost the same as cheating.
Look at the second thing I mentioned in my first post - it's definitely an abusing of the exploit.
And it's kind of funny how you are saying that
While confessing in spawnkilling yourself.
So tell me how should I "don't fall for their tricks" if spawnkillers oneshots me with bows right after shield fades out but when I still can't move away and avoid arrows?
Yes, they do it at practice mode, but we all know that they'll still be doing this at normal mode if it will be possible.
Though I haven't seen this for a while. Hope developers are fixed it.
To tell the true, I'm using tricks sometimes too (though not so dirty ones), and I'm noticing that I'm doing this when it's hard for me to fight against some people in an equal terms.
And it looks like it's the same with this lovers of "dirty tricks".
After I seen most of the tricks at Duels I started to know how to counteract them. And then I noticed that when people's attempt to use dirty tricks fails, most of them couldn't do a thing at all. Really, most of them are just sucks.
The same with this spawnkillers. When I managed to avoid this things and went to fight them in fair 1vs1, it turned out that all of them are just nothing.
My experience shows that they uses this dirty tricks not because they're "smart", but just because they are losers :/
Questionable thing to be proud of.
Some sick people loves to torment animals and make them suffer. And they find it amusing and fun.
Yes, it's very different things, but the reasons for such behaviour are quite similar. Just think about it by yourself.
Well, I'm sorry for being rude, but in the end for me your words just looks the same as when one criminal is trying to defend another one (as himself too). And nothing else.
