Game too hard.
This game is too hard to win. I struggle to do any challenges. I struggle to beat level 3 on story mode. And I can't get any of the special upgrades that look like fun to play with. I hate it so much. I know people are going to see this and say stuff like "Git Gud" or "U suk" and I want people to refrain from that. The developers need to put some time into making a few of these things esier. Gameplay is no fun whatsoever. The only time I do have fun is when I play level 1 on story mode, because that's the level I struggle the least. If the devopers refuse to make these changes then I wish for a full refund. I could spend my 15 dollars on a better game than this.

Thanks for your feedback! We are looking at providing more ways to provide a broader range of difficulty levels available for the game.

With the recent Raptor Challenge we made two versions, one a bit easier and one super hard, so it's definitely on our radar.

How far did you get in story mode, and what tends to kill you the most? Everyone's experience is different, so would love to gain insight into what trips you up. We don't have much of a tutorial to teach you the subtleties of combat right now.

Just practice, you'll get your timing down! It took me forever but then one day it just clicked. Now I can beat all the challenges fairly easily.

Hmmm, can you reliably do horizontal attacks?
Attack while holding A or D to perform a horizontal swing.

It's a crucial attack to master to defeat sword robots, as a forward attack will often be blocked!

Does that help at all? :)

i can beat level 50 on endless with hard titanium maps on, but i still feel jetpack2 needs a nerf and that the "validator" needs the jetpack and bow avaliable (because they are the only counter for jetpack enemies)

Pulling off one of these moves is what get's me past level 1 on story mode. I've never seen a master sword robot. :steamsalty:

Maybe a difficulty selection would be needed. It wouldn't change what enemies spawn, but would maybe change how often they attacked and maybe would change their reacrion time. This would allow people to make the game easier or harder depending on what they needed.

often you'll need good reaction timing. get the hammer for your first upgrade, get block arrows for your second. with hammer you'll easily destroy the 3 sword bots, and with block arrows you'll survive the next level as long as you manage to deflect all their arrows. get fire sword for your fourth upgrade, because its risky to use hammer on that level, so just go with fire sword. after that its your call.

additionally, you could train on endless mode? its a bit harder then story mode, so if you can get to gold on there, you'll probably be ready for story mode.

I think there should be like a difficulty option, that would be like this.

Easy -basically kills their AI

Normal -what we have now

Hard -higher chance to block, better aimi, and enemies have a little movement speed buff

Hardcore -no more clones, only repairs.
Enemies will repeatedly outmaneuver you.
Archers will barely miss.
To get them to fall in a trap you WILL have to kick

no, i think that would ruin the game. im not sure why, but i just feel like it would make the game worse rather then better, not sure how tho

Actually, a new difficulty tier would be neat. But remember, we're trying to help someone who can't get upgrades becuase they can't get to them. So, strategy, not upgrades.
