Tips on Hammer challenge?

Really stuck on it. I have done all the other challanges- stuck on this hammer though! Any tips/tricks for each map or what to upgrade etc would be greatly appreciated.

Timing and strafe are my best strategies for the hammer. Time your hammer blows right and any enemy is toast. I personally go for Spidertrons and Bowbots first. Once they are out of the way, I am able to make quick work of any other bots. I personally recommend getting a fully upgraded hammer first, but listen to the hints the comment bots and upgrade accordingly. If they hint at a level with lava, get the kick upgrade. Its also kinda up to chance with some levels being harder than others.

and if they hint the tunnel with no fire, get a jetpack and jump over spikes :)

The archers can be your best friends, make sure you get the deflect upgrades and you'll be fine.

that reminds me of a video Blitz made where one of the comment guys said "I was hoping for a sword upgrade" while he was doing the bow only challenge.

Also this comment adds nothing to this discussion other than humor.

oh i get that a lot, like I was doing bow only challenge and the sme thing happened to me, maybe the devs could add some custom lines for challenges

use the hammer like the sword but it cant block arrows or block swords
