The map only shows where you've already been, however.
And while I tried travelling bottom-bottom-right, I simply cannot find any port in that direction before my supplies run out.
And yes, I bought as much fuel and supplies as I can with starter 100 sovereigns. Still not enough.
So I need either a way to unlock port's location before travelling there, or figuring out which direction is which.
Other than that, your scout will tag the port in the chart UI if it sees it. But that's it.
Damn. Do you absolutely need to hire officers? I skipped on the test-driver available in New Winchester, could he increase engine efficiency or something?
But ye, you shouldn't be having this much problem. The random flying around is only for the first hour, until you find the couple closest ports. It's very easy to make money in the Reach after you start farming the bargains and prospects.
Except if I quit without saving and continue the game (because I run out of supplies trying to find that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ place), the directions change.
First it was "east-south-east", then "west-south-west", now it's "north-west" relative to New Winchester.
EDIT: reloaded again, it's west-south-west again. Bull$hit.
Refund time, I guess...
