Archer/WHM with heavy armor?

I just got Shemhazai and it seems like the only character it'd be useful for is Fran, who's an archer/whm. Everyone else either got the license the esper unlocks through their secondary boards or the licenses it makes available aren't useful. Or, in the worst case, the esper doesn't unlock anything.

So, I was just wondering if she'd benefit at all from heavy armor. Logic would say that no, not really since she's a ranger with a focus on healing. But seeing as those licenses are the only ones that are even slightly appealing, I thought I'd ask.

Bow damage does scale with STR (as well as SPD) and heavy armor tends to give +STR bonuses. So I guess for that it would benefit, yes.

In terms of practical application, if you find yourself healing more than you're attacking then boosting your MAG and MP via mythic armor might be more useful.
