Is there an easy way to 100% this game?

I'm nearing the end of the game, I think. I'm collecting Black Orbs in the current dungeon (tower). My party is roughly level 50+ and I have gear from shops. I have money thanks to the cat ear accessory.

Since this game is so focused on gear, it bugs me that the only way to get the powerful weapons is by a 0.0000000000001% chance drop. That just seems really dumb.

So, I want to 100% this game achievement wise, but I honestly don't feel like dealing with this stupidly insane RNG.

What can I do to obtain 100% achievements? I want to move on to clearing other Final Fantasy games. I know I wont 100% any other FF because they all have these weird RNG aspects to them, but I have a fondness for XII because it was fun as a kid and I'd like to see it on my profile.

It may sound dumb because it's not true. One of the best weapons in the game is a low % drop but can also be acquired via other means. But the vast majority of the best weapons in each category are in fact created in the bazaar or found in guaranteed chests. In fact, what is arguably THE best weapon in the game (Excalibur) is a guaranteed drop from a guaranteed chest. The next best weapons are all crafted.

Unless you count the invisible meme weapons which break the game and might as well amount to cheating given how utterly ridiculously OP they are.

I've heard getting all the achievements isn't actually all that difficult, and only one really contingent on RNG is the Quickening one; and it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be, since you can just sit down and spam it for a bit.

You're not required to get some of the super super rare items for all achievements afaik.

No item related achievements at all in fact.
In general for platinum you have to do all 100 levels in trial mode, complete the bestiary (many of which can be done in trial mode without needing to fight in the normal game), get all quickening concurances, get all espers, unlock each licence once, visit every zone and doing a few things you'll almost certainly do in the process of that (such as use magick a certain number of times, etc). I think that's it. Oh and beat the game of course :P

cause i like talking on the forum. And its possible VAC bans would apply to using outside programs to unlock achievements manually. If they are too lazy to google then I dont care. It just amuses me that the same lazy people are in fact so lazy they cant just search for a way and think someone on the forums should do the work for them.

In addition, it's mildly ironic you accuse people of being too lazy to google when YOU could have literally looked up what games VAC applies to, and FFXII is not on the list.

You know, for somebody who hates listening to complaining, you sure did dig yourself into a deep hole by bringing up this "small program."

What I meant by an easy method of getting the achievements, I was referring to console commands or something of that nature.

I've moved on from Final Fantasy anyway. I'll come back to it later. So, you don't have to worry about hearing me complain... but when I really need to just let off some Steam (pun intended), I know exactly where to come to vent.

I'm pretty sure that that ridiculous drop rate is for those invisible weapons. Don't even bother with those That kind of percentage does remind me of PSO2, though.

And by the way, I thought there was a title in the sky pirate's den for holding every item in your inventory? Not saying it's an actual achivement, but isn't completing the den a goal for completionists? I know I screwed that up, so ah well... I guess I'll do it on NG+ at some point.

And for the record, I found that Lightning Returns is the easiest FF to get all achievements for. It's one of the few games I cleared all achievements for and I don't remember struggling with RNG.
