I don't think I have that on my PC. Can't find anything in settings about it on my PC either.
Ahh, ok. Thank you. :)
Either way, I've noticed it says "Syncing" in blue text on the status thing for less than a second before going away and nothing happening...
When you purchased a Denuvo-ridden game and accepted the EULA, Denuvo was installed on your computer, sadly.
edit : there's nothing you can do about it except ignore it, or not purchase a game with Denuvo in the first place. This curator lists all games that have the DRM.
add C:\username\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC
To your AV ingore list, especailly if you have windows defender running, simply disabling it, might not help. as its been found that WD has caused the game not to run. also make sure that the above folder is there, and run the config exe first, (second option when starting the game)
Thanks. Am running on Windows 10 and
3.8Ghz AMD Dual Core
8Gig Ram
NVidea 750Ti
Added the path to my AV ignore list (after correcting the username) and its not helped, sadly - but thank you for your suggestion.
Its a fresh install install of Windows 10 with no upgrade from 7. There are already 2 user accounts on this PC, too.
OK, just wondering.
have you try to reinstall vcredist? that in the game directory.

interesting fix, basically, go to where the game is installed, and delete everything in the FF12 folder, (don't uninstall) after that, install the game. quite why that works for the guy in the vid, I don't know, but who knows, but another possible fix.
this works for most of the people. including for me. i have to do this every time when i start the game and afterwards it runs flawless.
you can also check if your monitor or tv supports 30hz or 60hz. because for some reason it works for devices that support every resolution in 60hz but not for the ones that support only a few resolutions in 60hz. i tried that... my tv supports higher resolutions only with 30hz and lower resolutions 30hz and 60hz. i also have a monitor which supports all resolutions in 60hz. when i use both and the monitor as the main source, i can start the game and then pull it to the tv. and it also works flawless.
so here you have 2 easy ways (even if they sound crazy) to play the game. i hope it works for you.
Sadly - neither worked, but thank you for your help.
These didn't work either...
I've had these issues with Steam in the past, but have always fixed it with either a reinstall or just booting as Administrator... very annoying.
because what i explained should work against white screen.
if it is something else... then i am sorry, but i cant help you with that.
well if we consider that it starts for some people when it is used with different monitors/tvs or if the screen is flipped to portrait... then i dont think that it is the fault of your pc. you know what i mean? it has some strange issues and more strange solutions for this issues.
