The differences between the soundtracks
are very smal in comparison with the differences between the original and the arranged FFX soundtrack or?

I could not hear any differences even between the old and new dalmasca desert tracks

They're pretty much the original tracks just re-recorded with a live orchestra. I love the new one personally, whereas I used the original soundtrack for my last playthrough of FF10

There IS a significant difference, although if you have very poor audio hardware you might not notice... it's noticeable even in these relatively poor quality YT videos. Best way to listen to the original is getting the psf2 files, reorchestrated and OST by ordering the discs, the reorchestrated is available in Blu-ray Audio through Square and the original PS2 OST is out of print but you may find the CD's on eBay with some luck.

both the "Original" and "CD" videos you posted are the same version. Both are from the disc soundtrack.

This one is the correct ps2 in-game rip:

Sounds like Soul Calibur music, is that just me?

original sounds more atificia and electronicl like midi, but beat is more distinguishable, remaster sounds more natural and sometimes reminds star wars OST, but beat is barely hearable.

the best track to notice the difference between ps2 in-game and disc OST is The Salika Woods

Original in-game ps2 soundtrack:

Disc OST:

pay attention to the vocals. The reverb is less pronounced on the PS2 in-game soundtrack and even interrupts itself.
