As you could probably get from my previous message, again, that situation's fine by me.
Yes, it's a strong weapon. Very strong. Top-tier.
Is it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like Avto was (and is)? No.
Is Carbine being strong a problem? No, not really.
Does it need a nerf? Maybe. Maybe not. I'm fine with it as it is personally.
Will it get nerfed? Yes, most likely quite soon.
The only thing officer carbine has atm is being a headclicker spam weapon. I think it is an a good spot balanced wise, but I haven't used it since buff.
Also nerfing carbine won't do much, people will just use other RNG options / ROF guns.
its way to easy to get money in hunt (which is not necessarily a bad thing), i know plenty of players that have 100k+ cash and many that even when playing expensive meta stuff all the time still make money. balancing around money wont fix anything and everyone that plays the game actively will tell you the same. the only players a money nerf would hit are low elo players while high elo players play whatever they want.
the officer is almost as good as a shotguns (as long as they dont miss with their first shot) in close range (15 meters) while still being strong enough to beat most loadouts at mid range (100 meters).
Not to mention is indirectly more powerful due to all points of interest being in compounds. the game pushes close quarters combat that way if you want to make progress.
And then immediately after complaining that someone who can manage the recoil of the carbine and get a headshot is unfair, you wonder why someone doesn't like the "oneshot someone with no aim at all" weapon.
2. The recoil of the weapon is easily controlled. If you play a couple games in a row with a carbine you won't notice it at all.
3. As I've written before, I'm a carbine enjoyer and I'm speaking from personal experience, not judging by the fact that I'm often killed with a carbine. They usually can't hit me in the head before I hit them, as for every one of their shots, there are 2-3 of mine.
And then again, the carbine has no recoil, you obviously haven't played with it. It's unfair that it has a muzzle velocity like long ammo, Winfield's damage and the Dolch's rate of fire. Against a shotgun, you can keep your distance. Shotguns are completely useless beyond their oneshot range. Against a carbine, you can't push it, you don't get an advantage at 70+ meters and the worst you can do is play at 20-40 meters.
