The game is fun, I'd love a single player version for sure, but I know not many people would be interested in it as this type of setting isnt very powerful.
The trial and even training modes are basically little single-player levels.
Yeah.
Red Dead seems to be the ONLY game in this type of era that did really well.
Its a shame cause its a fun game and I, like you, absolutely love the weapons and setting.
It just doesn't draw in many people. :| Even more so the zombie side of it, the Red Dead 1 zombie DLC was hardly touched by the majority of the people that bought the base game.
I could be wrong but, I seriously dont know too many games in this era/setting thats done well enough to warrant a sequel or game to be made from another company.
I second that. I didn't play any FPS in like 10 years but this one really catches my attention. I don't want to get ripped apart from too skilled players but have some fun with a friend for a bit.
Your best bet is to play non-random contracts at non-peak hours.
Well single-player campaign games are making a huge comeback lately in terms of sales. Big corporations like EA are finally getting the memo so I don't think it would be a waste of resources at all.
Yeah they are getting sales but not overall profits.
The amount of money mircotransactions brings in to those $40 to $60 multiplayer games is absolutely crazy.
EA literally makes *billions* a year in JUST mircotransactions from their statements.
Even with as many people hyped about Cyberpunk 2077.... it most likely brought in less overall profits than the latest call of duty with 'cool' skins.
