And then you'll look at those damn tiny factions on your next games, fielding a bunch of T2 units while you auto resolve everything and wonder why couldn't more campaigns be more like that one.
And then you'll find yourself looking for mods to make the AI snowball out of control so you can get that again, only to find out it also wrecks the balance and kinda makes the game unfun.
Do whatever you want in a single-player offline game where the only person effected is you.
It's your game just do whatever. I personally feel cheated on by the AI a lot during games and I sometimes find that to justify me doing some cheating. I only reroll saves though and have never used cheat mods so it's difficult to say.
Maybe try again in a couple of days/ weeks/ months? It might sound stupid now but if you manage to do it the OG way you'll feel very happy.
