Ruin puzzles make no sense
I understand the dice one, where the "?" makes it fairly clear what they want you to determine.

But all the other puzzles are bunch of jumbled B.S, and they're not even clear about what you're supposed to determine.
"Solitude is always desired.. here's a bunch of random symbols" --??
"Alignment.. here's a bunch of lines that don't line up with anything, and some symbols because reasons" --??

You're a little behind the curve on this. There's already a guide showing the solution for all the puzzles. Not to mention the countless other threads talking about the new puzzle mechanic.

Solitude is always desired, pick the symbol that isn't repeated.
the line one is pretty bs, find a guide to explain it to you, then there are some tricks to it

The line one is the only BS one in my opinion, and it truly is.

I can only hope some one mods the faux sudoku to be full sudoku in these puzzles.

Horizontal and vertical lines have 1-2-3-4 with the different colour combinations. Diagonals don't matter. Keep that in mind and most puzzles make sense.

Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with the current form.

Well, they do give clues. Solitude (which one is unique), and Alignment - a little trickier, but spin the center so the lines are aligned (can't actually spin it, have to picture it).

Solitude could also represent a position on the board/pattern, so it isn't clear.

I seem to get the alignment one 80% of the time, and it isn't reasonable to expect people to mentally spin the dial and somehow keep track of everything. Plus some of the lines barely even point to a definitive symbol, they're like halfway between two.

It's a riddle/puzzle and that line they give is intended as a hint. If they said "Pick the one that is unique", they may as well just say "This one here is the answer", at which point they may as well not have them at all.

It's not difficult once you figure out how, and you can do that easily by putting a little thought into it.

The dial one, the center circle has a face (there are 2 eyes), you spin it so the face is the correct way up. Even without picturing it, you should be able to kind of see which ones are likely to line up, based on the position of the lines on the inner and outer circles, and the distance between each one.

It's not supposed to be blatantly clear, as in "find the two identical icons". It's a puzzle. Even with that hint, it's pretty obvious.

Oh I wasn't asking for help, but for some thing more complex than a 4x4. The full 9x9 with its subsections is what I want(ed). But like I said, maybe some one can mod in more difficult puzzles.

But you have to ask if that'd ultimately be a good thing to implement. It's not Total Sudoku: Puzzlehammer 2.

Not really. It needs to be clear what's expected of you. The difficulty should be in the puzzle itself, not in trying to interperet a sh--ty hint about what they expect of you.

I've never noticed a face on the dial before, so I'll keep an eye out for that next time. Thanks

Hence mod.

lol - Puzzle Hammer 2 / and yes, the puzzle itself should be the puzzle and not the vague discription of what to actually do. Kinda tarded mechanic this.
