Empire griffin knights: the worst in the game
i find the griffin knights the worst in the game, they are very poor in every way, and rout quickly. once in a fight its hard to disengage them

I agree, they are not that good (but definitely not the worst)

Didn't they just get a 400+ mass increase to help with that issue this upcoming patch?

In this W2 their destroy power is decreased due to the buff given at infantry but still they are really resistant and a good charge is usually something that will destroy a unit. The halberd version are the best anti-cavalry of the game, that could win every 1v1. Lance version are good for flank enemies infantry because their stats are a bit higher and their charge is a little better. Other than this, even if they are shock cavalry, if u let them longer on a fight, they will not suffer as others shock cavalry. On general they are the best cavalry of the empire, especially the halber version that is probably the best in the game.

Edit: if u mean the bretonnia version, than yeah, they got a buff this patch, so try them again.

I agree, they are not that good (but definitely not the worst)

Its literally flying heavy cavalry, I've inflicted some serious destruction with them.

Their main problem was that it was REALLY easy for them to get "stuck" with one or two of their models and then the AI pathing won't let them go back in the air unless you're spam clicking, which no one wants to do or has time for. With the mass increase it should stop this from happening, was a big problem I kept seeing in MP

Yeah, that.
Same for the awesome Varggeists and the not so great Pegasus Knights.

I definitely hope that the mass increase solves it because on paper they are fantastic but when you have to babysit them most of the time it gets old really fast

my hyppo knights have wreaked havoc on evrything i,ve fought...vargheists included.those and grail guardians are my favourite units of all the factions i,ve played so far

yes exactly they do a charge and then get stuck, it does not matter if you got lots of good stats, if they cannot disengage, I find the empire ones do the same they get stuck so you cannot get them back out. so they are are a one trick pony, I spent ages trying to get them to regroup but they will not . mostly they just stay in a fight till the rout, no matter what i tried to do . Drives me nuts. Needs patching big time

its not fixed they are still doing it. For the price they are not very good, can only use them for one charge, they get stuck, just not worth it.
