Go to bottom one, where had all answer, top one show how to play puzzle, I am not fan of puzzle.
I honestly loved the new addition. Most are very easy to solve and only take a few seconds, or just a quick glance, like the dice and finding which icon doesn't have a copy.
That one that requires to know which number and color however may require you to actually fill the table in order to reach the solution, which may take time, but I find interesting, clever and simple enough.
However... The dial of the old ones... I hate.
If at least we could rotate it. I to first imagine where it suppose to be, count the numbers see where more or less it will fit, then count the numbers of the exterior wheel...
It's just annoying... Some times I still got wrong, because honestly it's not a safe proof solution.
CA should've included either an option to rotate it, or replace it with something else, that could be done in game.
Thanks brah, empire's blessed citizen!
I just don't bother with the Dials personally, I just pull up the cheat sheet. But I pull up the cheat sheet for Cyphers too after encountering two or so of these stupid 50/50 chance Cypher puzzles. The money's not even worth the hassle sometimes, it's 1k gold, usually with a worthless equipment.
100 scrolls can really put you ahead in the game.
The first is that their kind of weirdly one note thematically. Doesnt make a whole lot of sense for me to burn down a Tomb King city in Nehekra, search it next turn, and wind up having to solve a lizardman themed puzzle. The old system wasn't great, but at least most of the options were flavored in such a way that it didn't feel super unusual to find whatever you "dug up" where ever you might be searching.
The second is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dial of the Old Ones. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to impliment a puzzle based on rotating dials with no means to actually rotate the dials should be fired immediately. Short of pulling out a piece of paper and tracing the damn thing, or just making a wild guess, idk what CA expects people to do with that one.
Yeah, the dial is a stupidly difficult puzzle. Straight up unfair, really.
The colors have the same rules as the number of dots (Each color just once on each row), basically its simplified but double layered sudoku puzzle. Just do the numbers first then the colors.
