Dark Elves - Slave Pen vs Artisan

So far i have focused more on building an Artisan building in each city and its proved to provide a decent income.

Obviously you can do both Slave Pens and Artisans but your sacraficing other buildings to do so.

My question is if you had to choose between a Slave Pen or an Artisan which would you think yields more money?

If you have a ton of slaves the slave pen chain can net you big bucks.

Only downside is you then have to build a couple public order buildings + commandment to keep things in check.

Yeah thats why i had been using Artisan, seems more stable but im curious if maybe i should switch if slaves are significantly more profitable

Earlier on artisans are probably a safer option. Once you can pump developed provinces with 75%+ slave capacity with no problems then slave pens are way more profitable.

slave pens can net you around 1.5k for the minor ones each at a maxed out province.
