Lord Tyrion only has a horse
This might be something that the more learned in the Lore of Warhammer can answer but why is that all the other lords in my Elven army get to fly (eventually) a Star Dragon and my main character is stuck on an old nag? A very pretty nag I grant you but its still a horse.....not even a horse with a horn...what do they call those things? A yes a unicorn.

So why is my Legendary Lord restricted to a horse while all his underling lords are flying around on Dragons probably mocking his little pony as they do so?

In the tabletrop game his horse is monstrously big and named. Check its stats, it should be named, and be much bigger and tougher than most horses.

Short answer? Because that's what he gets in the tabletop.

And those legendary lords flying around had better stay up there to mock him, because the instant they touch the ground Tyrion will use that dragon's ribcage to sharpen his sword, eat the damn dragon, then use the pansy riding it as a novelty toothpick. Tyrion doesn't need to overcompensate.

I prefer horse over the drake any day. Drake is clunky as hell, gets weakness from range fire, gets tied down by mobs. Agility is better with horse.

Shame that horses cant go on the castle walls at all though. Lord on castle wall for siege is almost vital.
Gate approach is always so ...suffocating

What? A Horse? JUST a Horse?!? It´s the Horse named Malhandir for crying out loud. He is far from JUST a Horse.

I auto resolve all sieges as they are 1 dimensional as hell. I miss shogun 2 where sieges are fun. Warhammer sieges are crap. Plus your lord can break the door in a few strikes so there really isn't a problem.

How about Teclis's horse?

IKR? Shogun 2's fortresses are just amazing.

Nah, that one's just a horse. ^^

(he doesn't even get one on tabletop)

I see your horse and raise you the crazy, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bell-towers the Skaven Seer and Priest gets to ride. The animation for their mini-charge and the knockback force is crazy, in case you haven't seen it. You send other lords and heroes flying 20m back, easy. It's nuts.

And yes, he doesn't just get "a horse". ;)

Gone were the days when I play out attacking siege battles. When you attack on all sides and use ninja to suprise butt sex

It really depends on the faction. I enjoy sieges a lot as, for instance, Skaven. You get to fire cannons and catapults, use throwers in the broken wall sections and throw all kinds of naughty magic into blobs of enemies.

Then end up with a nice little surge of rats storming in, with Queek and his assassin buddy tearing the enemy lord in half while the warlock spikes the head on his stick.

Just good, clean family fun.

Lol Good thing I left Teclis on foot so he can climb siege ladders.

As a tip, you can dismount him via the equipment screen before a siege and let him ride around otherwise.

You use flying beasts for butt sex now.
Gone is attacking from all sides though.
I have absolutely no idea why Shogun 2 fortresses were so good all fleshed out and almost always in the center of siege maps but we get like a corner of fortresses after that game...

Still a waste of skill point and equipping turn imo. Not worth it if I cant use it always and my Teclis siege alot.

It's the horse to end all horses. The kind of creature that can only be produced by a true HORSE MASTER.

Btw give the HORSE MASTER game a go. Its FTP.
