Vaultopolis (SPOILER)
Why is Vaultopolis so crap? It really feels like a slap in the face, after completing 14 missions to reach the 15th and final one. And the loot was pretty bad, as well (apart from the quantam, of course.

are you talking about the stuff that kills your people
Baelorack Apr 21, 2017 @ 5:33am
Just bad on all levels. Nothing to kill. Nothing to see. I was expecting to see something amazing, supposedly being Utopia and all. It's just poorly written and carried out.

Wasn't that the one where the final level was basically just "Welcome to our vault. Just go around and loot all of our rooms unopposed"?
Baelorack Apr 21, 2017 @ 6:51am
Yes, and they looked horrible. Not "utopia" at all!
Mad Filter Apr 24, 2017 @ 2:20pm
Yeah, just played that part and it was a joke. No enemies, bad loot, same vault assets with dirty rooms and broken vault lol. They muss be on drug to call this "utopia".
lividman Apr 24, 2017 @ 3:21pm
I just completed the mission and got a Fatman and some nuka colas from the room with the dwellers so no complaining from me....

I have a similar experience to LividMan. So not complaining either.

Completely understand where the OP is coming from tho.

Maybee they were trying to push some buddiesm ideal that utopia is a state of mind and not reliant on materialism or some other Avante Garde crap. One man (or woman, or gender non specific)'s junk is another (et al) 's treasure.

It's a crappy F2P game and no, it will NOT get better.

So is existance...what exactly is your point?
theworld Apr 24, 2017 @ 10:52pm
Existence does get better if you work hard on it.

Quests won't get better if you play "harder" or better or whatever.

Point is: A lot of people seem to think there's some sort of ultimate quest or quest line after which they will complete the game. This is not true, you cannot win the game and should drop it sooner rather than later because it is shallow and there is no end game content.

I figured it might be something like "its so bad out there, this place without bugs/ghouls/scorpions is Utopia". Alternately, "its the apocalypse, what did you expect"? Kinda like a sassy sarcasm or something. But our vaults are already way better than that, so it falls flat.

They have enough graphics to make our vaults look nice, even on a crappy F2P mobile port. So they could have done as much in "Utopia", at least. That is my point.

Yes, but its also possible to get something that is horrible (sub-10 damage maximum), but still a legendary weapon. This is what happened to me. I don't know why this type of weapon even exists. And nuka cola quantam you get on every second quest :(

It is the final quest in the chain, after all!
