Although it's worth watching the first time.
Now you know the button so shouldn't be a big deal, definitely not a dealbreaker like you make it sound.
Honestly though, I get people have other things to do, but whatever happened to the generation of people who grew up with JRPGs and action-adventure games? Other than the NES era, most of those always started with an intro that took anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes before some actual gameplay in them. 15-20 minutes isn't that much, especially considering you can now skip it right away if you want to.
And...
Okami is an action-adventure game, not an RPG at all.
I actually didn't know about the skip button and due to a mistake I made I had to watch it TWICE before getting to dive in but I didn't complain, I just clicked while doing something else.

As for the controls OP, after inverting the x and y axis and deciding not to move my mouse to change the direction of my camera while I'm moving nothing annoys me. What's wrong?
They are. The amount of people that don't check over controls in games these days is nothing short of baffling. That's the first place I go if I need to rebind something or ask myself 'is there a button for X thing'
can watch long ass intro on ps2 but not pc lol ok
There is always one thread with some ridiculously entitled and picky complaint.
Its a bit sad yes... "damn 10 minutes of reading, I wanna die"...
