It's braindead.... can be fun but ultimately I cannot recommend it. Combat is a snoozefest for me.

Honestly, it is fun! Sure the controls feels a bit janky, and you really need to adjust your camera in the settings to be as far away as possible (not POV). But even with its flaws, I enjoyed my time with my Solo Rogue. Played 2 hours straight through a dungeons. Grab it for sale, while you can. Definitely worth the few bucks, if you don't mind some indie fun.

/edit 6 hours later: Did I say a simple game? (oh nvm, I didn't ^^) This game is far from simple. It may be easy to play, but I had no idea how many unique bosses, enemy types, biomes etc there are. It's crazy this game is barely noticed and deserved much more praise. I know it doesn't look much at first glance, but it seems there is a very talented dev or team behind this project. It isn't just fun, it's fun by design. Many features, most modern developers forgot about. You have multiple ways to go, so you can miss bosses. You get rewards for exploring on paths, you wouldn't even need to go to. And what the game doesn't tell you, you can go back to town at any time, do some stuff, or just quit to resume where you stopped your dungeon run.

I really love how the bosses keep getting more and more challenging. You start hack and slaying, but later you actually have to watch their abilities, so you don't get slaughtered. I also love how each boss feels unique. Would love to play this in coop with a buddy soon, but for now solo also is good fun!

Guys honestly, if you are into dungeon crawlers, grab it while you can for this low price. I'd even pay 20 bucks for this gem.
