Still holding out hope that we get some kind of Celceta confirmation soon.
Ys V is almost confirmed to be the next one in production in the Ys series, considering it's the only one without a proper remake/definitive version of the pre-2000s Ys.

YS vs legend of heroes
Maybe, but to be honest, I'll believe it when I see it. As I recall, Ys V was pretty much universally panned when it came out, it made a ton of design decisions that audiences hated, and it actually almost killed the franchise. Falcom might be understandably reluctant to risk remaking it. On the other hand, Wanderers From Ys was regarded as "meh" at best, and its remake as Oath is hailed as one of the best games in the franchise, so maybe they'll be willing to try it.
In any event, I really hope we get a port of Memories of Celceta sooner rather than later. Seems crazy that it only got released on Vita.
It's funny, because I remember Kondo talking about wanting to remake VI (before backpedalling a little, and simply saying he wanted to make VI available on PlayStation "somehow"), skipping right over the entire concept of remaking V, I guess I took that to be an outright confirmation that they were considering a Kefin remake -- simply because there's no one to mourn the loss of the original.
I mean, Kefin apparently had a rushed development cycle in the first place, leading to a lot of scrapped material: apparently, Effy, the girl who saves Adol after he gets shipwrecked, was originally intended to be a love interest for Dogi. Considering the fact that Kefin was essentially a failed blueprint for where the series would eventually go with Napishtim onward, not to mention the fact that surprisingly VIII takes place between Kefin and Napishtim, and it seems almost pointless not to remake it.
Ys V... I've yet to touch, kinda hard to get into (it's sloooow)
Celceta is very much the next in line, XSeed Ported Seven rather amazingly.
