Any tips for playing with the goblin team?
i was fooling around with the many different team species when i came across the goblin team.

the team seems so random. it has 2 trolls, which is good for blocking and downing opponents, but not good for much else. i've also tried giving the ball to one of the small goblins and then using the trolls to pick them up and throwing them (hoping to throw the goblin holding the ball to the end zone, but this almost never works, always fumble etc). i've also tried throwing the goblins at enemies, but doesn't seem to do anything, not even damage. how are u supposed to use throw team mate effectively?

also, the 3 unique goblin attackers, the fanatic, the chainsaw and the bomber they are powerful, but they seem to get caught all the time, making them a 1 turn team member which kinda sucks in a match since they get removed by the ref. bribes seem to work, but they're so expensivel. what else can u do with them? how are u suppoose dto use them efefectively?

as for the pogoer, but due to the lack of a good thrower in the team, his skills are rarely used. also being a stunty makes him uber weak if caught in a fight. how do u guys use him?

Goblins are a funteam, not really designed for winning. The best shot you'll have with them is to use the fanatic and chainsaw in your attack to strike as much havoc as possible, while using the bomber for the enemies cage. Try to utilize a low TV for more bribes and foul as much as possible.

IIRC, for some reason team re rolls are cheaper to purchase when you first make your team. So load up on re rolls at the very beginning with 4 or 5. you always want to make sure your team is cheaper than your opponents so that you get cash for inducements. Bribes are a must, get a wizard if you can afford it. Try not to score too early or else you will end up using bribes. Try to spend the first half bashing your opponents with your trolls and fanatic and dont be afraid to fowl anyone who falls down. It doesnt matter too much if a regular goblin gets sent off. Goblins are all stunty and have dodge which means they can slip through alot of tackles, so dont be afraid to run through enemy tackle zones.

The chainsaw goblin is vulnerable to tackles. You'll want to protect him and ususally use a blitz move to get him into a position to attack.

The bomb goblin can be funny, but most of the time he either fumbles the bomb onto himself or your opponents catch the bomb and throw it back at you. Of all the special weapons he is the one you would cut from the team first.

Throw team mate can, if you are lucky (like win the lottery lucky), be used to score a 1 turn touchdown. If you are able to pick up the ball and hand it off to a goblin who is waiting right next to a troll (or if your opponent kicks the ball out of bounds and you can just give it to him). The troll then picks up the goblin and assuming you pass the "stupid" roll and assuming he doesnt fumble the throw, you can trow the goblin as far down the pitch as possible and if he lands on his feet he is still able to move full distance and should be in range of scoring a touchdown (i cant remember if that is exactly in range, you might need to have +1 movement, or maybe you might need to have a lucky scatter). Throw team mate counts as a pass, and you can only make 1 pass a turn, so you have to hand the ball off to a goblin who hasnt moved yet.

Goblins aren't really a team that wins, they are just for fun.

The pogoer is a fast moving goblin. He can cover alot of ground and having stunty and dodge means he is just as good at slipping past enemys as any other goblin, especially with his leap ability. He is the one most likely to score touchdowns on your team.
