Crashing - 24H2 Win 11 Fresh Install

HI, I noticed that another user had this problem. I have done a fresh install of 24H2 and the game crashes at start up or after a couple of minutes. Thought it was the Nvidia Graphics driver but apparently not. Running Shadow of the Tom Raider without hitch.

If you can't rollback to prior version of windows there's nothing to do but wait for Microsoft/Ubisoft to fix the issue.

Apologies for the late reply and really sorry to hear it that Assassin's Creed Origins crashes on your PC with the latest version of Windows 11 24H2 installed on it.

Our teams are already aware of this issue resulting in more frequent crashes than the previous version - Windows 11 23H2 or Windows 10. They are working on finding the reason behind it and fixing it.

In the meantime, please feel free to generate diagnostic files on your PC and submit a support ticket with them attached.

Also, please include the Ubisoft Connect logs that can be found in the Ubisoft Connect installation path, in the Logs folder - launcher_log, network_info and service_log.
The default path would be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\Logs

Your support case will be escalated allowing the appropriate team to investigate your files.

There is no need of logs, it crashes on every plattform with 24H2 update, go test it yourself. Don't waste Time chatting with Ubi Support, ive done that over weeks.

Stesso identico problema, e non riesco nemmeno a cambiare versione di windows, avete novità?

Niente da fare, il gioco freeza dopo neanche 2 minuti di gioco...ad oggi 05/11/2024 non vi è soluzione se non quella di installare nuovamente la 23H2 e il problema magicamente si risolve. Il bello è che non si sà se è colpa di Microsoft o Ubisoft e credo che nessuno dei due abbia intenzione di metterci mano. E' un gioco stupendo, mi rifiuto di non giocarci aspettando che facciano qualcosa (non la faranno mai secondo me).

Broken for me too. Can't roll back to 23H2 as MS doesn't offer the download for that ISO anymore. So sad and frustrated. I just want to play this game I paid for.

We do not have any new updates regarding Assassin's Creed Origins crashing on Windows 11 24H2 version, sadly. Our teams are working on identifying both the root cause and its resolution. Thank you for your understanding.

I also just upgraded to a new computer that has Windows 11 24H2 and I can't run the game for more than 2 minutes despite having good perfomance. Rather frustrating

FIX YOUR GAME ALREADY PLEASE. Thank you. Hundreds of players, more and more everyday, are unable to return to version 23H2 due to a forced update of their Windows 11.

When the game freezes, the game's RAM usage drops to almost zero at moment before freeze... it looks like Windows 11 24H2 is "killing" the game with unknown reason. It doesn't look like a bug in the game itself, it simply wouldn't "give up" its RAM back in Windows hands in that case.

They posted a pinned thread at the top here. They got our message. Now we can let them peacefully cook a patch!!! So glad they flat out acknowledged it and committed to fixing.

I hope this issue gets fixed soon, i got the game because of the Autumn Deals but like everyone in this discussion, i'm also getting crashes in the menu even before having tried playing the actual game.
