Have to login to Ubisoft Connect EVERY TIME I launch

Every time I launch, whether I hit Remember Me or not, I have to put my email and password into Ubisoft Connect. Then when I close the game, it forgets me.

Crazy how Ubi "fixed" the issue for a few months for most users then when they changed the whole Ubi overlay it broke everything again.

I have found a fix that works for me. I followed Ubisoft's 'Running applications as admin' support article (found here: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/connectivity-and-performance/article/running-applications-with-administrator-rights/000060505 ) and what I did the first time was to make upc.exe run as admin for all users (which did not work) then I did the same thing for UbisoftConnect.exe and now EVERY TIME I LAUNCH UBISOFT CONNECT IT REMEMBERS MY LOGIN (p.s. from my own testing I could launch R6S from Steam and the Ubisoft launcher launches as expected).

Yes, it's happening to a lot of people. Sometimes it gets better, usually is worse. Ubisoft is going trough a rough patch. They will fix it or the company will disappear, but for now, I don't think there's a solution for us. You can see above in this topic that someone from Ubisoft tried to give a non-solution. Just be patient or don't play Ubi games. Sorry.

Yep, pretty much what I had to do to play my Ubisoft games on Steam Deck. I use secure passwords and I can't be expected to type them every single time I want to launch a game.

The same with Black Flag I've bought yesterday. I have a lot of ubi games on my account but only BF ask me to type password every single time I want to play. It's... Quite annoying to find, open, copy and paste my password each time I launch the game.

When you finish your session with Ubisoft Connect, if you do happen to click 'Log out' then this will result in wiping the login details to allow next account to login unimpeded.

If that doesn't help, try reinstalling your Ubisoft Connect launcher[support.ubisoft.com], and see how that goes.

This had 0 effect on the issue; it's 2023 now. Ubisoft is 8up on this so bad it feels like it is on purpose at this point.

Yea, it's maddening. And it doesn't happen with any other Ubisoft game. I launched Rainbow Six Siege and it was fine, so it's tied to this specifically. Very annoying

It's not tied to AC: Origins specifically... Splinter cell: Blacklist does the same thing.

I had the same issue when I installed ubisoft connect on my steam deck. You have to go to desktop mode and the go to ubisoft connect, properties and then pull up start page select ubisoft connect.exe after that go to each end and put "" at the beginning and end of the link. After that you won't have that issue.

Nope, still happens after saying Yes to allowing it to access my PC

Just make sure Ubisoft launches at start that will fix the problem but you cant play the game right after start you'll need to wait 1-2 mins.
