Possible corrupted save. Have you tried starting a new game?
Have you updated your display driver?
Is Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and Origins all installed on the same drive? Is your drive encrypted? Game will not work with windows storage spaces.
Have you simply verified the integrity of game files?
You may need to re-install Ubisoft Connect.
All my display drivers are up to date. My game files were verified and was 100% validated .. I redownloaded the game also from steam as a last resort and it didn't fix it. I don't think there's a need to redownload ubisoft as I launch alot of games on it and they all work greatly but for Assassin Creed Origins.
What peripherals do you have connected to PC? Try to disconnect them. Than see if game loads.
Have you tried a clean boot? Disable all non essential services, programs and tasks from starting with PC. So use services (services app or system configuration app), tasks (task scheduler app), and startup items (task manager) to disable them. Check all 3 areas. If anyone is enabled that software will load and prevent certain games from running.
Try running DDU and than reinstall latest display driver. Here is link. Make sure to read guide if unfamiliar. https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4518
Now that you moved the install folder. Install the game again.
Even though other games are fine you may need to reinstall steam and Ubisoft connect. This way all directories are pointing to correct folder. Just download and reinstall. They will overwrite without deleting your library.
Tried with different windows compatibilities.. running as admin .. just no no no
Remove overlays? The files? Did you happen to set them as admin? Than they wont work and cause the crashes. This method wont help the issue.
What is your Windows version and build?
Your issue seems a bit similar to this one.

My windows is : Windows 11 Home Version 22H2
OS build: 22621.1778
I can see that the issue you provided was solved by having a windows update but mine are up to date so it's not really of a solution :/
It looks like you are on the insider (preview) build. It is best to make sure that is disabled and you stay on the public release channel. Since its latest release though it shouldnt make a difference for this problem you are facing.
Did you do an upgrade to Win 11? Or was it a clean install? Have you simply tried to set compatibility to Win 10?
regarding win 11 .. I got it as an update from windows updates. I don't have win 10 compatibility .. latest i have is win 8
Which advice?
I have seen from other players from multiple game forums that upgrading from an earlier version of windows can cause issues. Even though some games work fine others may not. Due to the file structure of the OS. It can become corrupted or have registry errors whne using the upgrade process.
What I would recommend is downloading the media creation tool and making a bootable USB to install Windows 11 clean. Than install all up to date system drivers and chipsets. This will ensure a fresh install and should remove any conflicts with previous drivers. As well as correct any issues with the system's file structure.
Just make sure to backup any files or game saves you want to keep. As the drive will be wiped. Also, keep internet disconnected until after all drivers and chipsets have been installed successfully. Once everything is done you can connect it again.
I know this is a last resort option and you may not be comfortable with it, but you can watch plenty of guides online to get an idea of what to do before starting. Here is a link to download the media creation tool.
