Logitech Wireless F710 controller
Hello everyone,
I haven't found a discussion about gamepads occasionally going crazy so I decided to post one. Maybe someone will know how to fix it.
I've been replaying the AC series using a Logitech Wireless F710 controller bought last year. Everything works fine, but I do notice that sometimes the output from the controller is totally different from what I actually want to do. For example, sometimes the buttons don't react to my input or the output is heavily exaggerated. When it happens, the 'mode' icon blinks 3 or 4 times and everything goes back to normal. I have walking and running mapped originally to the left stick and recently I've noticed that sometimes, when I push the left stick forward to the maximum degree, my character doesn't always start running. It's as if something was wrong on the inside of the controller; no connection or I don't know. I disabled Steam input, put new batteries in my controller, checked its fuctionality with Windows and on-line tools and updated the driver. Everything seems to work until I actually launch a game. It happens that I can play bug-free for hours and sometimes the 'floating' or exaggerated output is so intensive that I tend to die in-game because my character refuses to do what I instruct them to do.
I have always played using a keyboard and a mouse so I have no experience with controllers.
Can anybody suggest anything?
Thanks.
