Won't launch after installing through steam for the first time. HALP

Played all day on my PS5, read there's cross progression so jumped on my PC and it simply won't launch. Shows the logo screen and that's about it. Tried some fixes from Google searches but no luck.

Cross progression is not supported for AC Origins. It was made available to Valhalla but so far no other AC games before it have cross platform saves.

I'm having the same issue. I've installed the game but when I try to launch it, I just get the initial ACO logo floating on my screen and that is it.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues launching Assassin's Creed Origins. As animal_PLANET has advised above, cross-progression is not available on this title.

In regards to the games not launching, could you please try the following troubleshooting steps[www.ubisoft.com] to see if they assist with the issue?
