bent pyramid of sneferu bug

Just bought the assassin's origin on sale and need some advice. I shot through the iron bars and destroyed the vase behind the sliding shelf. The voice in the game told me the sliding shelf is now free to move. I then reentered the pyramid through the second entrance and pushed the shelf. The problem now is the shelf does not move. I rechecked and the vase is gone. It appears to be a glitch. Ideas??!! Anyway to reset this particular quest so I can do it over again?
