Can't access ACP (animus control panel)
when i try to use it, i just get sent to a screen in ubisoft connect with no option to use the ACP, i want to try it out but i can't access the panel, it quite simply doesn't exist according to ubisoft connect.

i also get a lot of stutter when using my PS4 controller along with my settings not staying the way i set them f.e. i set the controller layout to PS4 icons and the game controls to be my PS4 controller (i use a bluetooth connector) but after i tab out of the game for whatever reason then suddenly the settings are set to auto instead of PS4, only after the tab out of the game does these issues begin.

Anyone know of a solution?

I've been playing with a mouse and keyboard, so I can't help you with your controller issues. As for the ACP, I have some good news but much more bad news. The bad news is that the official way of using the ACP was lost at some point (I assume it was around when Uplay was rebranded to Ubisoft Connect) and Ubisoft stated they have no intention of fixing it. The good news is that there's possibly a way to use it through .ini files as it was designed so that you could easily share settings with others. Unfortunately, I only have to undermine that with more bad news, I have no idea how to use it and can't really find enough information to piece together how to make it work.

Thank you for the useful information, it makes me sad that ubisoft would abandon the ACP.

Hi,

As Midnight Carnival Snack stated, there is still a way to use the ACP.

*Due to the popularity of this comment I have made a guide. Basically the same content as below but with better readability.*
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2907026466

Firstly, launch your game to the main menu, follow the on-screen instructions to duplicate a savegame with ACP enabled. Load into that save, make sure you now have control over your character (Bayek).

Then minimise the game, navigate to your PC's "Documents" folder, there should be a file in that folder called "ACP.ini". *Cannot find ACP.ini? See "Edit" below*

Open the file with windows Notepad, make sure your game is still running in the background. You can now edit all ACP settings in that .ini file.

Save the changes you made to the .ini file, go back to your game and all your ACP changes should have taken effect.

You do not need to open or edit the .ini file everytime you launch the game. You just need to do it once and after that everytime you load into the ACP savefile your changes will still be in-effect.

*Edit*: December 2022:
A few people have since contacted me that they cannot find the ACP.ini file.

FIrstly, the ACP.ini file should be in your "Documents" folder directly, not the "Documents" > "Assassin's Creed Origins" folder, make sure you are checking the correct folder!

Secondly, make sure you have created an animus hacked savegame and have loaded into that savefile at least once before checking the .ini file.

If you still cannot find the file, Pheex below (see #15) has kindly posted the content within that file. You can simply create a new Notepad file, rename it to ACP.ini and paste the content into it.

Alternatively, PM me and I will send you mine. Please also leave a comment here so I understand the purpose of your friend invite. Thank you.

A few commonly asked changes:

> xxx levelscale = 0. Changes how much that faction scales relative to your character. Can be a value between -50 to 50.(not sure) For example: PtolemaicLevelScale = 50 means all pharaoh soldiers will always be 50 levels higher than you.

> PlayerBowQuiverSizeInfinite = false and PlayerToolPouchSizeInfinite = false. Can be true or false. If set to "true", you will have infinite arrows and/or tools.

> PlayerMovementSpeedMultiplier = 100. Changes how fast your character moves on foot. Max value is 1000 (not sure)

> MaxAmountOfTamedAnimals = 1. Changes how many animals you can tame at once (requires the correct skills unlocked). Max value is 5.

> WorldMapUnfogged = false. If set to "true", the whole map will be unfogged. Once that happens, you cannot revert the change (not sure)

> XY relations = 0. Changes the relationship between faction X and faction Y. For example: "RomansRebelsRelations = 0" changes the relationship between roman soldiers and rebels. Can be a value between 0 and 3. 0 is default relationship. 1-3 can be allies, neutral and hostile, though I forgot which is which.

> StressLevelDecrementationSpeedModifier = 100 changes how fast enemies give up searching you. Max value is 1000 (not sure)

> ConflictRangeMultiplier = 100 changes how far enemies can see you. Not sure what the max value is.

> InvestigationRangeMultiplier = 100 changes how far enemies search range is. Not sure what the max value is

> CivilianAndCatsDesynchRuleDisabled = true changes your desync rule. If set to "true", you will desync after killing 3 civilians or cats. If "false", you can become a mass murderer.

> PlayableCharacterIndex = 20. Changes your playable character. Can be a value between 0 and 20, though you need to figure out which is which. List of controllable characters: (potential spoiler?)
Bayek
Aya
Abstergo Trooper
Kensa
The Duelist
Khaliset
Tahira
Kawit
Bandit Warrior
Son of Ra
Bandit Archer
Jeska
Hotephres
Nubian Soldier
Roman Scout
Roman Soldier
Rai
Greek Soldier
Hepzefa
Theodoros
Layla

> PerpetualAdrenalineEnabled = false. If "true", you have infinite adrenaline

> DeadlyAssassinationEnabled = false. If "true", you assassinations are guaranteed to be lethal.

> PlayerExperienceGainingMultiplier = 100 changes how fast you can gain XP. Max value is 100, meaning this setting can only reduce your XP gain.

All other settings are either not commonly requested or are very intuitive. Good luck.

Do you know if, for example, I change their health from 100, which I assume to be 100%, to, let's say 150% and save. Would that affect the achievements? I am playing on Nightmare but I am still finding it too easy sometimes.

Hi,

You cannot earn achievements when playing an ACP savegame. You can only earn achievements in normal savegames.

If you edit the .ini file, the cheats/changes will only affect ACP savegames, so no you will not be able to earn achievements.

Hey I tried to add you as I can't find the ACP file anywhere on the web, Do you still have it and could possibly send it to me? Even just a screenshot of how the file is supposed to look as I can just make it look the same in a copy pasted ini file of the ACO.

I've uploaded the ACP file :)

https://filetransfer.io/data-package/Tb2eEH4G#link

this link will expire in a month or so and might be marked as an unsafe download because it's a config file by it's nature.

If you rather make your own ini here's the contents of my unmodified original ACP.ini
