Playing Offline

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the Steam community for AC Origins - I've played ~85 hours on PS4 and have 40 hrs. on PC.

I'm wondering if there's any way to play offline? I purchased the game through Steam, and everytime I select 'Offline' mode in UPlay, the game just doesn't launch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, and I hope you're still enjoying this amazing game :)

Welcome to the Steam forum for AC Origins. Since you have the game on Steam, do you also have Steam in offline mode?

Also...

If the game still doesn't launch offline, try launching the game online first. There is a possibility Denuvo's servers need to be reached to create a valid offline token before you can play AC Origins offline again. If that is the case, then you can not play the game offline until you first launch it online. There will also be a requirement for the game to go through a periodic internet connection to once again have a valid offline token, so you will have to be connected to the internet during that time and then launch the game online again.

If you do not know what Denuvo is and would like to learn more about Denuvo, you can find videos to watch about it on YouTube.
