No XP gain after 55

After I reached level 55, I'm no longer recieving xp progression, it's just stuck in the middle.
When I was playing the original game and reached the end-game level of 40 I could continue leveling for ability points, so why can't I now? Is it a bug or is this meant to be? Are there a limit to just how many ability points you can have? and just to clarify, I've not used Animus Control Panel.

I believe you can enable infinite leveling in the control panel. I've not used it yet either, but I saw an option saying something like that.

Ye and that was what I was doing when the level cap was 40, it's weird if ACP has turned this off without me doing anything.

Hey, thanks for your time and reply. It seems it sorted itself with a restart of the game, or perhaps I was just awfully tired when I was playing last night.
I played some today and "leveled" up past 55 and got the extra skill point, so it all works.

However, since you're already here, are you guys working on a fix with the achievements "Prison Break" and "New Recruits" from The Hidden One DLC? Me, personally I can't find any rebels to rescue, so I can't get the achievement. However, I do find rebels to assist but I don't think that's what the achievement wants you to do, and even if it was I've assisted way more than twenty rebels, at least I think so.
And with new recruits, I've done both of those side missions yet I didn't get it, the steam achievements that is.

Hi aceaholic,

Level 55 is the level cap for the game if you have the DLCs, so it would be correct that this isn't increasing.

Just to confirm, are you on NG or a NG+ and are you still getting the Skill Points?
